How to Participate

  1. Institutions within Hong Kong that establish butterfly gardens through our association will automatically become members of the “Butterfly Garden Certification Program”. Certified butterfly gardens will become free members of the “International Butterfly Network”, becoming part of the network. However, members of the “Butterfly Garden Certification Program”must apply for renewal before the expiration date each year according to the program's requirements in order to continue being members of the “International Butterfly Network”.

  2. International regions can sign a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOU) with our association. The goal of the memorandum is to provide a framework for the long-term cooperative relationship between both parties. We will work together to promote butterfly ecological education programs, build butterfly gardens, explore further cooperation opportunities in citizen science education, and facilitate exchanges between the two locations. We hope that this partnership will achieve common goals and enhance the exchange of environmental education programs between both parties.
